The Memory of Jan Zwartendijk
'The Memory of Jan Zwartendijk' is an interpretation of the 'Monument to Jan Zwartendijk', located in Kaunas, Lithuania. Using strips of dichroic glass, I created a small sculpture based on the formal language of the monument in Kaunas.
At the same time, this work also relates to the material I used for 'Portal to Safety', on view at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague.
